1. About these terms
Calera is owned and run by Calera, a sole proprietorship based in Sri Lanka (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@calera.app.
These terms apply when you use Calera: the website, your booking pages, the website widget, team workspaces and RSVP event pages. By creating an account or using Calera you agree to them. If you use Calera for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.
People who book a time or reply to an event don’t need an account. Their use is covered by the host’s own terms and by our privacy policy.
2. Your account
You need to be at least 16 to create an account. Give us accurate details, keep your password to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access. You’re responsible for what happens in your account and in workspaces you manage.
Your username becomes part of your public booking link. We may reclaim a username that impersonates someone or infringes their rights.
3. Using Calera fairly
Please don’t use Calera to:
- send spam or unwanted invitations, or book people without their agreement;
- publish anything unlawful, misleading, hateful or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- collect guests’ information for purposes they wouldn’t expect;
- probe, overload or work around our security and rate limits, or scrape other people’s pages;
- resell or copy the service.
We may remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
4. Your content and your guests
You own what you put into Calera: event types, pages, images, notes and the bookings and replies you receive. You give us permission to store, process and display it only so we can run Calera for you.
When guests book or reply, you decide what to ask them and what you do with their answers. You’re responsible for having a lawful reason to collect that information and for telling guests how you use it. We handle it on your behalf, as described in our privacy policy.
5. Plans, trials and payment
The Free plan is free for one person. Pro ($9 a month or $90 a year) and Team ($19 a month or $190 a year, including 5 seats, then $5 per extra seat a month) are paid monthly or yearly, in USD plus any tax; current prices are always on our pricing page. During the closed beta, no payments are taken and every beta account gets Pro free. New accounts can try Pro for 14 days without a card. When a trial ends without a subscription, the account moves back to Free and keeps its bookings.
Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com, who is the merchant of record for all orders. Paddle handles payment, invoices, tax, refunds and billing questions, and its buyer terms apply to your purchase.
You can get a full refund within 14 days of any payment; our refund policy explains how.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time in Settings › Billing, and keep paid features until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Team plans are billed per seat. If we change a price, we’ll tell you before it applies to your next renewal.
6. Other services
Some features connect to services we don’t run, such as Google Calendar and Google Meet. Using them is also subject to those services’ terms, and we can’t control their availability. You can disconnect them at any time in Integrations.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Calera running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We sometimes pause it briefly for maintenance.
We improve Calera all the time, so features may change. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Calera after that means you accept the new terms.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Profile. That cancels any subscription and permanently deletes your personal workspace, its event types, bookings and events. Team workspaces you own pass to another admin.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or when the law requires it.
9. Liability
Calera is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or missed meetings, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and its courts deal with any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
